YFC - YOUTH UNLIMITED NIAGARA
- “CAR PUSH” FUNDRAISER

North Parking Lot (across from Winners entrance)
Dan Kowcun and Rob Kmet will be attempting to break an existing
Guinness World Record by pushing a car up and down our North Parking
Lot within a 24 hour period, for a total distance of 60 miles! The
purpose of this event is to raise funds for the YFC - Youth Unlimited
Niagara organization. Donations can be made by phone by calling
1-866-537-5219 (please remember to designate it towards “the
Car Push”) or on-line at www.thecarpush.com
A Guinness World Record Presentation will be held inside the mall,
in the Sears Court area, on Saturday, July 4, 2009 from 11:00 -
11:30 a.m.

4th Annual WALK-A-MILE-IN-HER
SHOES for Gillian’s Place

Are you man enough to join us and strap on a pair of heels? By joining
other men and walking together through the Pen Centre you show women
you want to work together in making the world a safer place for
all mothers, sisters and daughters.
All proceeds from this fundraising walk will go towards Gillian’s
Place, (formally Women’s Place,) the only organization that
provides a safe emergency shelter and specialized services for abused
women and their children from Grimsby, Lincoln, Niagara-on-the-Lake,
St. Catharines, Thorold and West Lincoln.
By participating in this unique event, you will be stating that
violence against women and children is not just a women’s
issue and that women and men must work together towards creating
a violence free world.
