How to purchase
Pen Centre Gift Cards
Pen Centre Gift Cards are available from our Customer Service
Centre, located inside the main entrance between the Bay
and Sears, or on-line via our secure "gift card selling"
website. Gift Cards are the perfect way to give that special
someone the gift they want. You will be giving them the choice
of shopping at over 180 stores and services. We offer complimentary
Gift Card holder packaging with every card purchased. For
something extra special, you may purchase a Gift Card Box
for only $2.00 or a Gift Card Purse for only $1.00 at our
Customer Service Centre. Pen Centre Gift Cards are not re-loadable
or refundable. |

You
may also purchase Pen Centre Gift Cards on-line using
your credit card and our Gift Card order form. There is
a $10.00 processing fee per shipment. Delivery time is three
business days after processing and approval. Gift Card orders
under $150.00 may be sent directly to the recipient, and
may include a special message from the sender. Regulations
state that all orders over $150.00 must be shipped to the
purchaser.

Corporate Gift Card Orders
Pen Centre Gift Cards make excellent gifts

as well as corporate gifts. We will be happy
to accept your corporate credit card, or
with pre-approval, your company cheque.

Lost, Stolen
or Damaged Gift Cards
If a Gift Card is lost, stolen or damaged, the Cardholder may
request a replacement card if the cardholder presents the original
receipt for the purchase of the Gift Card or the damaged Gift
Card in the case of a damaged Gift Card. Any replacement Gift
Card will be issued and activated in the amount of the available
balance of the Gift Card Account at the time when the replacement
card is issued. No fee will be charged for this.
Gift Card Account
Balance Inquiries
The balance of the Gift Card account is
available by telephone and through the Internet.
Account balances will also be transmitted
to participating Pen Centre merchants for
presentation on transaction receipts.
Cardholder Agreement
At the time of sale, the Gift Card will be accompanied by a
cardholder agreement which sets forth the terms and conditions
governing the use of the Gift Card.
Acceptance Procedure
for Gift Cards
Pen Centre Gift Cards may be used for payment of goods and
services and will not be refundable, in whole or in part, for
cash.
Valid Through
Date
To manage fraud and misuse, the Pen Centre Gift Cards will
become unusable after a date (the Valid Through date) that
is encoded in the Gift Card. The Valid Through date is no less
than 18 months and no longer than 36 months after the date
when the Gift Card was issued and activated. After the Valid
Through date, the cardholder may present and exchange an unusable
card for a new Gift Card that will be activated in the amount
of the available balance at the time of exchange. No fee will
be charged or assessed for the exchange of a Gift Card
Fees and Charges
There will be an account maintenance fee (AMF) of $2.50 per
month after the 15-month period following activation of the
Gift Card. It will commence on the first day of the 16th month.
The AMF will continue each month thereafter until the Gift
Card account has a zero balance. The AMF will be automatically
deducted from the Gift Card account.

and services with the exception of those
